Their shows and art work speak for themselves. Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the streets, doing with the ideas, the way we live.


These famous fashion designers are sorted here from across the globe while their ideology and uniqueness in their creation of popularity coaxed them to their hidden achievements:


  1. Calvin Klein

Calvin Klein

Born in 1942 in New York, Kelvin  also capitalised on his own charishma and lean good looks. Throughout the decades, rumors about his own sexual orientation seemed  to fuel the ongoing mystique and appeal of this designer which made him more attractive and successful.


Calvin Klein Inc. is an American fashion house founded by the fashion designer Calvin Klein.


In addition to clothing he has also widen his horizon by introducing us to a wide range of perfumes, watches and jewellery which had made him more popular.


  1. Christian Dior

Born in January of 1905, this French designer was best known for his distinctive “New Look” silhouette.

First shown in 1947; his suits and dresses revolutionized the way women dressed after the Second World War. His design were that famous that even today the , talented designer John Galliano carries on the legendary designer’s legacy in Paris, where he creates dramatic couture ball gowns, chic prêt-a-porter, and luxurious accessories for Dior.


Galliano’s talent and his over-the-top runway shows have ensured that the brand remains strong and viable in today’s world. For ten years, until his death in 1957, Dior reigned as fashion’s king. Each year, he introduced a new “line” (Zig-Zag, Tulip & Cupola), and though his signature look expanded to include elements of menswear, straight skirts, and English tweeds—even unfitted dresses and empire waists–the Dior look never lost it essential femininity and glamour. Today, designer Christian Dior lives on in a multinational empire of clothing and fragrances (his own favourite fragrance was lily of the valley) and his self-penned epitaph: “My dream is to save women from nature.”


  1. Coco Chanel

Born Gabrielle“Coco” Bonheur Chanel, she is an excellent French fashion designer, founder of the well-known Chanel brand, whose modernist thought, practical design, and pursuit of expensive simplicity made her an important and influential figure in 20th-century fashion.

She was the only fashion designer to be named on Time 100: The Most Important People of the Century. Starting from clothing chanel brand  is also famous for bags and perfume.


This was not the end her collection was so famous that at the end many movies were also made,  the first film about Chanel was Chanel Solitaire (1981), directed by George Kaczender .even a television movie was made named  Coco Chanel (2008).


  1. Pierre Cardin

The Italian-born Frenchman is lauded for his 20th century pieces that looked as though they were from the 25th century.


As Cardin rose to fame in the age of the space race, his creations took on an air of futurism. His so-called bubble dresses had all the fixings of science fiction, combining earthy elegance with out-of-this-world colours and avant garde design.


Pierre Cardin was also designated UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador in 1991.
