CNN report says that chilli peppers helps you live longer, reducing the risk of premature death by 14%. The bioactive ingredient, capsaicin, present in chillies help burning excessive fat, fight infection, and stimulate kidneys, lungs and heart. Physicist Mickey Shaughnessy, confirm on Quora that Spicy food contributes to increased metabolism.

However, the risks involved can’t be ignored meanwhile. It is a contributive spice for cold and sinus aggravation. It can also be riling up for women. Studies are yet to be concluded though we can consider few pros & cons while decided on spicy food.
